Does anybody know when Gloucestershire will be recruiting Police officers and PCSO's ?

Also when was the last time they recruited ??

Hi dude

I dont think they will be recruiting for a couple of years, their website now states they arent taking PC's or PCSO's for the next 12-18 months.
I know theres a few people still waiting in the wings that passed their assessment days last year!

It wont be for a while. They froze recruitment about 18 months ago due to budget cuts. This has left lots of people that are past the assessment centre stage still waiting. At a guess, they wont be sending out new applications forms till the end of the year or even 2011.

Although, they did announce on the radio that they will be reopening recruitment but didnt say when. I think the radio station just needed a story....

They are opening recruitment again in July, however it wont be open to new applicants. Its been opened to process people already in the application process.
